    Our Hearts Are So Full: Thank You for Our First Fundraiser

    Animal Trivia at Grey Iron Brewing was our first fundraising event as The Comeback Pack, and the room was full of people who showed up for the dogs. A thank-you to everyone who played, donated, and made the day feel like a gathering of friends.

    Two Rescues Are Ready to Help Her — We Just Need a Foster

    A sweet girl in Anza has lost two owners and is still living on the property, waiting. Foster Paws Network and The Comeback Pack are both ready to take her — neither of us can until a foster in the Riverside/San Diego County area says yes, and you can apply through either rescue.

    A new volunteer role for people who can't foster or adopt: post our adoptable dogs to the Nextdoor and Facebook groups you already belong to. We supply the photos and write-ups, you share when you have a few minutes, and we handle every application from there.

    Stormy Skye, an underage puppy we recently pulled from a shelter, tested positive for parvo — and we said yes to her anyway. She's safe and recovering now, but her vet bills aren't, and we need the Pack's help to cover them.

    Thanks to the generosity of Susan D., every adoption now unlocks a $100 donation to The Comeback Pack, and every newly approved foster unlocks another $50 — plus a free beer and grilled cheese sandwich from Grey Iron Brewing and Temecula Grilled Cheese Co. And Dean has officially been adopted — his brother Sam is still looking for his forever family. Update, August 27, 2026: the program has raised $550 so far.

    New Adoption Fee Structure + Introducing Seniors for Seniors

    We're adjusting our adoption fees to help more dogs find their forever homes, and launching a new Seniors for Seniors program: adults 65+ can adopt a senior dog for free.

    It's Official: The Comeback Pack Is a 501(c)(3)!

    The IRS has officially recognized The Comeback Pack as a 501(c)(3) public charity, effective July 13, 2026 — donations are now tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. In just three weeks of operating, the brand-new foster-based rescue has already saved six dogs.
