It's Official: The Comeback Pack Is a 501(c)(3)!

When we created The Comeback Pack, we wanted to do it right.

We didn't start operating as a rescue until we were officially formed and authorized by the State of California as a nonprofit public benefit corporation — and we kept working while our federal application was pending.

    Now, the wait is over.

And here's the part that makes us especially proud: for a brand-new, foster-based rescue, saving six dogs in three weeks is incredible — and it's only possible because our community showed up. You fostered. You donated. You volunteered. You shared our posts. Local businesses partnered with us. You believed in what we were building.

We're official. Six dogs are safe. And we're just getting started.

This is where the comeback begins.

    Highlights

    • IRS-recognized as a 501(c)(3) public charity, effective July 13, 2026
    • Donations to The Comeback Pack are now tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law
    • Six dogs saved in the rescue's first three weeks of operation
