Foster
We need your help!
Without fosters, we cannot save dogs. It's as simple as that.
Curious who needs you most?
See real dogs from our community who are waiting on a foster before we can even bring them into our care.

Thank you for opening your heart and home to a dog in need — here's exactly what to expect.

Complete a foster application — you'll find the button below.
- 2
Get to Know You
Our Foster Coordinator will text you to schedule a phone call. A brief video home visit may be required.
- 3
Match You With the Right Dog
We'll match you with a dog that's compatible with your home, pets, and lifestyle. You always have a say in which dog you foster.
- 4
We Provide the Dog & Supplies
We provide supplies, veterinary care, and guidance to help your foster settle in successfully. Please give your foster time to decompress as they adjust to your home.
- 5
Your Foster Gets Adopted
We promote your foster, carefully screen adopters, and work to place every dog in the right forever home as quickly as possible.
Foster Manual & Care Agreement
Get familiar with what to expect before you apply — our Foster Manual covers supplies and expectations, and every foster signs a Foster Care Agreement.
Won't I (or my kids) get too attached?
Probably — and that's okay. Getting attached means you've given a dog exactly what they needed: love, safety, and a place to belong. Every goodbye opens your home to another dog who needs a second chance, and we'll support you every step of the way. Kids who foster even get a Foster Hero Certificate and a small plush dog to celebrate the life they helped save.
