Ways to Volunteer
There's a role for every schedule and skill set. When you apply, you'll tell us which of these you're interested in — pick as many as you like.
Fostering
Open your home temporarily to a dog waiting for their forever family.
Dog Walking
Give dogs in foster care the exercise and one-on-one attention they need.
Transporting Dogs
Drive dogs to vet appointments, adoption events, or foster homes.
Special Events
Help staff adoption events, fundraisers, and community outreach.
Fundraising
Help raise the funds that cover vetting, food, and supplies for dogs in our care.
Neighborhood Ambassador
Share our adoptable dogs in the Nextdoor and Facebook groups you already belong to.
Record-Keeping
Help track medical records and volunteer or foster paperwork.
Vetting Applicants
Review foster and adoption applications and follow up on references.

Doggy Day Out
Give one of our dogs a break from boarding — a walk, a pup cup, or an afternoon on the couch.
- We provide the dog, the ADOPT ME vest, and full guidance — you provide the adventure
- No set schedule — outings can be a walk, a pup cup, or just a quiet afternoon at home
- Every dog is approved for the program, and we're just a call away if anything comes up
- Approved volunteers only — complete our volunteer application and sign a Liability Waiver first
