We had been talking about getting a dog, but not looking in any serious way. Then Jen and Marc sent us a photo of Violet, insisting she would be perfect for us. Even though they were in process of rehabilitating her after surgery to spay her and remove her eye, they knew she would be the perfect fit. Violet was found abandoned after obviously having been used for breeding and suffering from untreated glaucoma, fly-bitten ears, and malnourishment. Once she was comfortable, Jen set up a time for us to meet Violet in person and we were goners.

It's hard to believe she is the same skinny, wounded dog. Jennifer and Marc and their entire family (including the cats that welcomed her and helped us feel confident that we could introduce her to our own cats) took such good care of her until she was ready to come home with us. That was two years ago, and our family has never been the same.

Everything about how Jen and Marc operate reflects the kind of rescue you want to support. They communicate quickly and honestly, they put real thought into matching each animal with the right home, and they treat every dog in their care like family. Their whole household is kind and genuine, and they follow through on everything they say. Any rescue run by these two is going to change a lot of lives. It changed ours, because we can't imagine our life without Violet, and we are so grateful to Jen and Marc for rescuing her and bringing her into our lives.

About four months ago, my daughter Tricia sent me photos of a blue heeler and her nine puppies that had been rescued by her friend Jen and her partner, Marc. For years, Jen and Marc had been saving dogs from difficult situations, and Tricia kept sharing their rescue stories with me. When she invited me to meet the puppies at Jen and Marc's house, I went along insisting I was "just meeting the dogs."

Then I met Sapphire, the puppies' shy, gentle mother. As I sat with her and gained her trust, Jen and Marc shared her story: abandoned in a rural area while pregnant, rescued just in time, and facing an uncertain future before they stepped in and saved her and her puppies. It was impossible not to be moved by both Sapphire and the people who had given her a second chance.

A couple of weeks later, Sapphire came to live with me as a foster. What followed was months of teamwork with Jen and Marc as we worked through one challenge after another. They coordinated veterinary care, helped address her medical needs, and provided constant guidance as Sapphire struggled with anxiety, recovered from spay surgery, and later faced a serious orthopedic issue. When an unexpected emergency landed Sapphire in the hospital after she accidentally ingested medication, Jen's response was not blame but unwavering support.

Throughout every setback, Jen and Marc remained committed to doing what was best for Sapphire. Their dedication became even more evident when Sapphire's leg injury worsened and surgery became necessary. Jen encouraged patience before finalizing the adoption, then organized fundraising efforts through the rescue so Sapphire could receive the care she needed. Thanks largely to Jen and Marc's compassion, persistence, and generosity, Sapphire—now Delphi—is officially adopted, recovering beautifully, and thriving in her forever home. Her story is ultimately a testament to the extraordinary hearts of Jen and Marc and the life-changing work they do for the dogs they rescue.

4 years after losing our sweet old family dog, we decided to open up our hearts again and adopt. I was a little nervous about finally accepting a new dog into our family, but Jen was such a tremendous support to us! We originally applied to adopt an older dog, but after learning more about our young family, Jen recommended a younger puppy, Sadie Rose, who was sweet and as loyal as could be. Jen's own family had fostered Sadie, nurturing her from an abandoned puppy, into a happy, healthy, belly-rub-addicted sweetheart! We brought her home to our kids when she was just 9 weeks old! She is the ultimate success story of why it is important to choose a loving and nurturing adoption agency.

Now a year and a half old, Sadie still LOVES "her" kids, adventures, and belly-rubs! Jen and I have kept in touch to celebrate Sadie's milestones as she has matured into a beautiful family dog. It's hard to believe that she was once a neglected and abandoned puppy. You'd never know it after all of the love Jen and her family poured into her. I am forever grateful for the care they gave our Sadie girl, preparing her for her forever-family

Working with Jennifer and Marc during Arlo's adoption it was clear that they are truly passionate about what they do. Because we were scheduled to be out of the country on vacation, they went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule, consistently providing regular updates and photos. We cannot express the joy Arlo has brought to our family and we are grateful to Jennifer and Marc for helping him become a part of our family.

If you are looking to foster or adopt, I cannot recommend Marc and Jen enough. Our family originally connected with them to foster two young puppies. We had never raised puppies that young before and felt a bit overwhelmed, but Marc and Jen walked us through every single step. They answered all of our endless questions with so much patience and kindness.

Their passion and knowledge for animal rescue shine through in everything they do. They even made sure we were fully stocked with all the necessary supplies to care for the babies. We fell so completely in love that we ended up adopting one of the puppies! We are so grateful for their support and highly encourage anyone interested in fostering or adopting to work with them.
