Holy Howloween! Thank You, Foster Pup Social

That was one heck of a pawty!

Our October Foster Pup Social was a smashing success, and we're still smiling from ear to ear! We saw some absolutely ridiculous levels of canine cuteness, with local pups showing off their Halloween costumes, former rescues stopping by for happy reunions, and several of our adoptable dogs getting their moment in the spotlight.

And can we just say, the dogs were amazing! With that many dogs, people, costumes, and excitement in one place, we were blown away by how beautifully everyone behaved.

But the best part? The community. There is something really special about bringing people together over a shared love of dogs, and the night was a wonderful reminder of just how incredible our local dog-loving community really is.

We have so many people to thank:

Grey Iron Brewing Company: our wonderful hosts and the location of the original Foster Pup Social. Thank you for welcoming us, supporting rescue, and giving our community a place to come together.

Kristy: a huge thank you for stepping up as our Special Events Coordinator and knocking our biggest event yet out of the park.

Kahoots Feed and Pet in Menifee: thank you for your generous donation and continued support of rescue.

The Mac Truck: thank you for keeping our guests happy and deliciously well-fed.

Feeding Perris Strays: thank you for coming out and showing your support. There's something especially wonderful about rescues supporting other rescues, and Feeding Perris Strays does incredible work saving animals while collaborating with and lifting up other local rescues.

Our Liberty High School volunteers and Comeback Pack volunteers: thank you for donating your time, energy, and enthusiasm to help make this event such a success.

Our amazing foster families: you already give so much of yourselves to these dogs, and then you take time out of your busy lives to bring them to events, show them off, and help them find their forever families. We appreciate you more than words can express.

And congratulations to our costume contest winners! Judging by the amount of cuteness in that brewery, we're pretty sure every dog deserved a trophy.

To everyone who attended, brought a dog, bought a raffle ticket, donated, volunteered, or simply stopped by to say hello: thank you! Our supporters are the reason we get to do what we do.

The fun doesn't stop here. Our regular Foster Pup Social takes place on the second Wednesday of every month at Grey Iron Brewing. These are much smaller, more intimate gatherings where local dog lovers can relax, socialize, enjoy a drink, and spend time with some pretty fantastic pups. No big production, just good people, good dogs, and a great little community.
