October Foster Pup Social - Grey Iron Brewing Co. in Menifee

Dog costumes. Cold beer. Loaded potatoes. Prizes. And a whole lot of rescue dogs.

Our October Foster Pup Social is going Halloween, and we really want to pack the place for this one!

Grey Iron Brewing Co. — Wednesday, October 14, 5:30 to 8:00 PM. Doggy Costume Contest starts at 6:30 PM! And yes — bring your dog in costume and get one free beer! The free beer is for guests 21+ only, one complimentary beer per group, and it has to be a legit costume.

Costume contest categories: People's Choice, Silliest Costume, and Best Duo (themed person + dog costume). And there will be prizes! Our costume contest winners will take home prizes, including an awesome prize donated by Kahoots Menifee. Thank you for supporting our pups!

There will also be raffle baskets with some fun goodies!

Come hungry, because Papas El Guero food truck will be serving up their loaded stuffed potatoes, grab an ice-cold beer from Grey Iron, and spend the evening surrounded by dogs.

And this is not just for our fosters! All friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome. This is a free, family-friendly event: no catch, no admission, and you absolutely do not need to bring a dog. Everyone is invited — whether you have a dog or just really love them. No dog? Come say hi, love on some foster pups, and enjoy the evening.

These socials are fun, but they also serve a really important purpose: they give our foster dogs a chance to get out into the world, meet new people and dogs, build confidence, and get some much-needed socialization. The bigger the crowd, the more valuable that experience becomes for them.

There will be no on-site adoptions, but if you happen to meet a Comeback dog who steals your heart, you can absolutely apply to adopt and we'll take it from there after the event.
