Happy 50th Birthday to Marc, the Guy Who Always Shows Up

Happy 50th birthday to the guy who somehow manages to be the heart of our family and the guy who will drop everything because there's a dog somewhere who needs him.

Marc is one of those rare people who just shows up — for his family, for complete strangers, and, of course, for dogs who have no idea how lucky they are when he becomes part of their story.

He's one of the most genuinely selfless people we know. When the answer to "what do you think we should do" is always "let's save them," you end up with a rescue. Marc does the hard parts of rescue that most people never see — the driving, lifting, transporting, late nights, early mornings, and stressful situations it takes to get a dog safely from where they are to where they deserve to be. And he does it because that's simply who he is.

As our Co-Founder and Director of Field Operations, Marc is a huge reason The Comeback Pack exists in the way it does. So many dogs have gotten their comeback because he was willing to show up for them.

There are people who make the world better just by being in it. Marc is one of them.
