Our Hearts Are So Full: Thank You for Our First Fundraiser
Our hearts are so full tonight.
Today was our first fundraising event as The Comeback Pack, and looking around the room at all the people who showed up for us, and more importantly for the dogs, meant more than we can say.
Saving dogs takes heart, but heart alone isn't enough. Good rescue takes knowledge, experience, hard work, paperwork, resources, relationships, and a willingness to keep learning. There's no paint-by-numbers formula for saving lives. And it is definitely not a solo sport.
As we've built The Comeback Pack, one thing has become incredibly clear: finding your people matters. The ones who open their homes, share what they know, donate what they can, volunteer their time, and simply show up when dogs need them. We feel incredibly lucky to be building this Pack with all of you.
A huge thank you to Grey Iron Brewing Company for hosting us, to Laura R. for organizing such a fun event, to Define Aesthetics Studio and Tanya's Cookies for their generous donations, to our amazing Animal Care Club volunteers, and to every single person who played trivia, bought raffle tickets, donated, stopped by, laughed with us, and made today feel like a gathering of friends. You'll find Grey Iron, Define Aesthetics Studio, and Tanya's Cookies on our Community Partners page.
This may be a new chapter, but it already feels like something pretty special. Here's to an epic Comeback.
