New Adoption Fee Structure + Introducing Seniors for Seniors

We're making a change to our adoption fees — at least for now — with the hope of helping more of our dogs find their forever homes.

Seniors (ages 7+) are now $100 to adopt, young adults (ages 1–6) are $200, and puppies under 1 year are $400.

Our puppy adoption fee is a little higher simply because puppies cost the rescue more to prepare for adoption. The Comeback Pack is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we receive no government funding. We rely entirely on adoption fees and the generosity of our supporters to keep our rescue going and continue saving dogs.

Every adoption includes spay/neuter, microchip, DA2PP/parvo, bordetella, and rabies vaccination.

We're also launching our new Seniors for Seniors Program, modeled after a program from one of our favorite rescues, Hope Ranch Animal Sanctuary. Adults age 65+ can adopt a senior dog (age 7+) from The Comeback Pack for FREE.

You'll still need to submit an application and be approved through our normal adoption process, but there's something pretty special about matching a senior pup with a senior human. We'd love to help you find your new bestie.

And if you're looking for a free adoption this weekend, Animal Friends of the Valleys in Wildomar, CA is participating in Clear the Shelters this Saturday, August 15, with free adoptions. They have some amazing dogs and cats waiting for families, and we absolutely encourage you to go meet them.
