We're Looking for a Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator

We're saving dogs faster than we ever imagined. Now we need someone to help us keep doing it!

The Comeback Pack has experienced more success, more quickly, than we ever expected it to have. It's a wonderful problem to have! But every dog we save comes with a financial commitment, and we've reached a point where we need some dedicated help keeping this rescue funded.

We're looking for a VOLUNTEER FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR!

This is a flexible, part-time volunteer role with the opportunity to make a HUGE difference for rescue dogs in our community! We're hoping to find someone with fundraising experience who is creative, organized, practical, and, most importantly, consistent.

What would you help us do?

    • Plan and coordinate in-person and online fundraisers.
    • Collaborate with our community outreach team to turn fun events into fundraising opportunities.
    • Build donor relationships, send thank-yous, and share updates.
    • Bring creative, realistic fundraising ideas to life.
    • Reach out to community businesses to ask for donations and build partnerships.
    • Explore grant opportunities. Eventually we hope to foray into grant writing; experience is a plus, but we're happy to teach you what we know.
    • Help at occasional in-person events in the Murrieta, Temecula, and Menifee area, usually no more than one per month.

We already have AMAZING volunteers who are happy to help. What we need is someone willing to take the lead and keep our fundraising efforts moving forward.

This is NOT a full-time commitment! We know people have busy lives. We're simply looking for someone who can dedicate a little consistent time and energy to helping us grow.

You don't have to foster a dog to save a life. You can make an extraordinary difference by helping us raise the funds that make rescue possible.

Interested? Apply to volunteer at thecomebackpack.org!

Update, October 20, 2026: we shared a new flyer that spells out the role. You would work with our Special Events Coordinator on events like bingo and trivia, develop engaging posts, help run raffles, reach out to community businesses, and eventually help us explore grants. It's mostly work from home, with occasional in-person events (usually no more than one per month). Not sure if this is for you? Email us at thecomebackpack@gmail.com.

Please share! The perfect person might be someone you know!
