Comeback Community: Meet Blake!

Sometimes the best volunteers find us because of one special dog.

Blake had already spent time volunteering with local shelters when she met Pretty and decided she wanted to take the next step: fostering. She reached out to The Comeback Pack, welcomed Pretty into her home, and helped her make the transition from shelter dog to beloved family member.

But Blake didn't stop there.

Since Pretty's adoption, she's continued showing up for our dogs — helping with meet & greets, taking dogs out for walks, and spending one-on-one time leash training some of our shy pups.

And that last one? She has a gift for it. Blake has a calm, patient way about her that helps nervous dogs feel safe enough to start coming out of their shells.

Fostering may be what brought Blake to The Comeback Pack, but we're incredibly grateful she decided to stick around.
