Their Journey So Far

1. Welcome to the Pack

   August 8, 2026

   Meet Samson! At about a year and a half old and around 57 pounds, this gorgeous young husky wasted no time fitting in as our newest pack member. He's sweet, curious, friendly, and always ready for whatever comes next — a big personality to match his big fluffy coat.

2. Doggy Carpool

   Samson quickly learned that life with The Comeback Pack means road trips with friends. He LOVES playing with other dogs, and hopping into the van alongside the rest of the crew was no exception — tongue out and ready for adventure.

3. Settling In With His Foster

   As happy as he is on an adventure, Samson is every bit as content curled up with his foster family at the end of the day — a huge thank-you to the foster who opened their home and gave him exactly what every rescue dog deserves while he waits for his forever family: a safe place to land.

   

4. Ready to Belong to Someone

   Samson is neutered, vaccinated, house trained, and great with kids and other dogs — a happy, goofy boy who's clearly having the time of his life. He's settled in, he's ready, and he's just waiting for his forever family to find him.

5. Adopted!

   August 16, 2026

   It's official! Our handsome boy Samson has found his forever family. A huge thank you to Sherry for seeing the beauty in Samson, inside and out — this sweet, joyful boy is going to be so happy in his new home, especially with his new husky siblings by his side. Samson won't be heading home quite yet, which brings us to a very special thank you: his foster dad, a Foster Extraordinaire who volunteered when Samson needed someone, has agreed to keep loving on him until his new family is ready to welcome him home. Happy forever, Samson. You deserve every bit of it.

   

6. Home at Last

   August 29, 2026

   We are so happy to officially send Samson off to his new family. He was adopted a couple of weeks ago, but today he finally made the journey north to begin his happily ever after. We are so thankful to his adopters for seeing everything we see in this sweet, beautiful boy and choosing him to be part of their family. And a huge thank you to Samson's foster dad: not only did he open his heart and his home to Samson when he needed it most, he kept caring for him even after the adoption was finalized, so his new family had the time they needed to make arrangements to bring him home. Happy life, Samson. You did it, Buddy. This is where the comeback becomes the happily ever after.

   

7. A New Brother

   August 30, 2026

   A little Sunday morning joy, straight from Samson's new home. His foster gave this boy the love, stability, and confidence he needed to be ready for his forever family — and now here he is, tearing around the backyard with his new brother like he's lived there his whole life. His adopters are truly wonderful people who already adore him, and we couldn't have dreamed up a better ending for this sweet boy. Samson absolutely hit the jackpot. And judging by how happy everyone looks, we think his family might feel like they did too.
